CUVÉE BRUT PRESTIGE

The Brut Prestige cuvée is a perfect blend of three Champagnes (1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot Meunier, 1/3 Pinot Noir), defending a certain classicism with complexity and balance, while offering a certain sweetness. – Jean-Christophe Lenfant, cellar master.

Available in bottle, half bottle, magnum, Jeroboam and Mathusalem.

It is made with 60% of the year’s standard wines and 40% of the reserve wines. With a dosage of between 9 and 9.5 g/l, it has been aged in the cellar for 4 years and rested for 6 months after disgorging.
Contains sulphites.

TASTING NOTES
It has a pale golden colour. Its elegant and regular sparkle gives us a nice bubble on the surface. On the nose, the first aromas are of biscuits and fruit (pear and plum).

With aeration, the reserve wines emerge, subtly adding notes of dried fruit and stewed fruit. After a few minutes, bread and ginger appear.

The attack on the palate is fresh and sparkling. The following sips reveal a smooth and pleasant texture that creates a creamy sensation. When it warms up a little, it reveals a slight vinous note and warmth. The dosage goes well with the freshness and effervescence, bringing a certain balance to the whole.

The finish is sweet, complex and long. It offers a tangy sensation and very refreshing notes, typical of our terroir.

FOOD PAIRING
This is a Champagne for all occasions, well-balanced, fruity and harmonious, to be enjoyed as an aperitif or at a cocktail party with delicate savoury snacks, preferably with Manchego or Idiazabal cheeses. With a meal, it is the perfect accompaniment to white meats and seafood or fish from the Bay of Biscay, such as lobster or anglerfish.
Serve at 7ºC.
