Les Romarines Rosé Extra Brut is a cuvée of intense red fruit, generous and ripe, which balances the tension of the Mesnil-sur-Oger terroir.
Les Romarines is a rosé made on the same basis as the Grands Blancs cuvée. Some Grands Blancs barrels are selected for their fruitiness. These barrels come exclusively from the Grand Cru terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger. To this base, Pierre Amillet (Robert Moncuit’s grandson) adds about 7% of red wine from Ambonnay, a Grand Cru terroir of the Montagne de Reims. It is from the same vintage, but the year is not indicated on the bottle. After a minimum of 3 years in the cellar, it is disgorged and bottled as Extra Brut.
Contains sulphites.
TASTING NOTES
It is highly appreciated as an aperitif or with a gourmet dish of white meat. It is perfect for drinking all year round, thanks to its finesse and impressive minerality, with citrus and almond notes in perfect harmony. It is a cuvée of intense red fruit, generous, with plenty of maturity that balances the tension of the Mesnil-sur-Oger terroir.
