PUENTE DEL EA
BARREL FERMENTED WHITE 2016
VITICULTURE & OENOLOGY
Wineries and Vineyards Puente del Ea are located in Sajazarra, a beautiful town in the region of Haro (La Rioja, Spain).
Barrel Fermented Puente del Ea White is an unusual white wine due to its elaboration process: mature grapes well selected, vintage in boxes, fermented in an interesting set of new barrels. Weekly work of lees with continuous batonage that gives structure and volume in the mouth. It is interesting as age-worthy wine. The wine is presented in a German bottle with bohemian glass stopper.
At sight, yellow color with greenish trim, bright and clear.
In the nose, high aromatic intensity. Citrus fruits with bone and tropical fruit. Slight toasted notes.
In the mouth, bulky with perfect balance acidity-alcohol. It emphasizes its unctuousness due to the work on lees, which makes it long and glyceric. Rich and complex aftertaste that highlights the potential of the new barrel.
Fish, seafood, cheeses, tapas and salads.
