ROBERT MONCUIT

Founded in 1889, Champagne Robert Moncuit is a producer of fine champagnes.

Champagne Robert Moncuit has a long history spanning five generations. Alex Moncuit started the vineyard in the 1890s, but it was not until 1935 that his grandson Robert created his first cuvée. Robert Moncuit continued to produce this exceptional champagne until his death in 1987. Today, his daughter Françoise and his son Pierre Amillet (oenologist since 2000) run the company, maintaining the original mission: to enhance the terroir of Le Mesnil by respecting tradition, emphasising authenticity and minimising intervention in the vineyard and the winemaking process, thus enhancing its natural microcosm.

The estate has 8 hectares of vines in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the village where Krug is located, in the heart of perhaps the most sought-after of all the Côte de Blancs Grands Crus.

Bodegas Puente del Ea is the exclusive distributor for Spain.

Réserve Perpétuelle Extra Brut is a Chardonnay from Mesnil-sur-Oger. A savoury and harmonious Blanc de Blancs, its balance between freshness and complexity is remarkable.

Les Romarines Rosé Extra Brut is made from the same base as Les Grands Blancs (Chardonnay from Les Mesnil-sur-Oger) with the addition of 7% red wine from Ambonnay (Grand Cru Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims).
